ast-firmware on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "ast-firmware" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install ast-firmware on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S ast-firmware

* (Optional) Uninstall ast-firmware on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns ast-firmware

2. Manually Install "ast-firmware" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone ast-firmware's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/ast-firmware.git ~/ast-firmware

c. Go to ~/ast-firmware folder and install it

$ cd ~/ast-firmware $ makepkg -si
