autotranscode on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "autotranscode" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install autotranscode on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S autotranscode

* (Optional) Uninstall autotranscode on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns autotranscode

2. Manually Install "autotranscode" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone autotranscode's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/autotranscode.git ~/autotranscode

c. Go to ~/autotranscode folder and install it

$ cd ~/autotranscode $ makepkg -si
