bandwidthd on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "bandwidthd" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install bandwidthd on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S bandwidthd

* (Optional) Uninstall bandwidthd on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns bandwidthd

2. Manually Install "bandwidthd" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone bandwidthd's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/bandwidthd.git ~/bandwidthd

c. Go to ~/bandwidthd folder and install it

$ cd ~/bandwidthd $ makepkg -si
