bash-eternal-history on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "bash-eternal-history" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install bash-eternal-history on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S bash-eternal-history

* (Optional) Uninstall bash-eternal-history on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns bash-eternal-history

2. Manually Install "bash-eternal-history" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone bash-eternal-history's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/bash-eternal-history.git ~/bash-eternal-history

c. Go to ~/bash-eternal-history folder and install it

$ cd ~/bash-eternal-history $ makepkg -si
