basic256 on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "basic256" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install basic256 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S basic256

* (Optional) Uninstall basic256 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns basic256

2. Manually Install "basic256" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone basic256's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/basic256.git ~/basic256

c. Go to ~/basic256 folder and install it

$ cd ~/basic256 $ makepkg -si
