bin32-jre on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "bin32-jre" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install bin32-jre on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S bin32-jre

* (Optional) Uninstall bin32-jre on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns bin32-jre

2. Manually Install "bin32-jre" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone bin32-jre's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/bin32-jre.git ~/bin32-jre

c. Go to ~/bin32-jre folder and install it

$ cd ~/bin32-jre $ makepkg -si
