chicken-locale on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "chicken-locale" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install chicken-locale on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S chicken-locale

* (Optional) Uninstall chicken-locale on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns chicken-locale

2. Manually Install "chicken-locale" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone chicken-locale's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/chicken-locale.git ~/chicken-locale

c. Go to ~/chicken-locale folder and install it

$ cd ~/chicken-locale $ makepkg -si

3. Information about the chicken-locale package on Arch User Repository (AUR)
