chirp-hg on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "chirp-hg" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install chirp-hg on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S chirp-hg

* (Optional) Uninstall chirp-hg on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns chirp-hg

2. Manually Install "chirp-hg" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone chirp-hg's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/chirp-hg.git ~/chirp-hg

c. Go to ~/chirp-hg folder and install it

$ cd ~/chirp-hg $ makepkg -si
