1. Install "chromium-vaapi" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

                sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install chromium-vaapi on Arch using YAY


    
        
            $
        

        
            
                yay -S
            
                        
                chromium-vaapi

* (Optional) Uninstall chromium-vaapi on Arch using YAY

                yay -Rns

2. Manually Install "chromium-vaapi" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

                sudo pacman -S --needed
            
                        
                base-devel git

b. Clone chromium-vaapi's git locally


    
        
            $
        

        
            
                git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/chromium-vaapi.git
