cppyy-backend on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "cppyy-backend" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install cppyy-backend on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S cppyy-backend

* (Optional) Uninstall cppyy-backend on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns cppyy-backend

2. Manually Install "cppyy-backend" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone cppyy-backend's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/cppyy-backend.git ~/cppyy-backend

c. Go to ~/cppyy-backend folder and install it

$ cd ~/cppyy-backend $ makepkg -si
