cpu-x on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "cpu-x" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install cpu-x on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S cpu-x

* (Optional) Uninstall cpu-x on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns cpu-x

2. Manually Install "cpu-x" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone cpu-x's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/cpu-x.git ~/cpu-x

c. Go to ~/cpu-x folder and install it

$ cd ~/cpu-x $ makepkg -si
