crowd-greeter on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "crowd-greeter" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install crowd-greeter on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S crowd-greeter

* (Optional) Uninstall crowd-greeter on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns crowd-greeter

2. Manually Install "crowd-greeter" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone crowd-greeter's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/crowd-greeter.git ~/crowd-greeter

c. Go to ~/crowd-greeter folder and install it

$ cd ~/crowd-greeter $ makepkg -si
