1. Install "docker-squash" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)


    
        
            $
        

        
            
                sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si
            
                    
    
    Copied

b. Install docker-squash on Arch using YAY


    
        
            $
        

        
            
                yay -S
            
                        
                docker-squash
            
                    
    
    Copied

* (Optional) Uninstall docker-squash on Arch using YAY


    
        
            $
        

        
            
                yay -Rns
            
                        
                docker-squash

2. Manually Install "docker-squash" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

                sudo pacman -S --needed

b. Clone docker-squash's git locally

                git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/docker-squash.git
