dvrescue on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "dvrescue" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install dvrescue on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S dvrescue

* (Optional) Uninstall dvrescue on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns dvrescue

2. Manually Install "dvrescue" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone dvrescue's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/dvrescue.git ~/dvrescue

c. Go to ~/dvrescue folder and install it

$ cd ~/dvrescue $ makepkg -si
