eclipse-spotbugs on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "eclipse-spotbugs" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install eclipse-spotbugs on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S eclipse-spotbugs

* (Optional) Uninstall eclipse-spotbugs on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns eclipse-spotbugs

2. Manually Install "eclipse-spotbugs" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone eclipse-spotbugs's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/eclipse-spotbugs.git ~/eclipse-spotbugs

c. Go to ~/eclipse-spotbugs folder and install it

$ cd ~/eclipse-spotbugs $ makepkg -si

3. Information about the eclipse-spotbugs package on Arch User Repository (AUR)
