emacs-lucid on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "emacs-lucid" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install emacs-lucid on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S emacs-lucid

* (Optional) Uninstall emacs-lucid on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns emacs-lucid

2. Manually Install "emacs-lucid" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone emacs-lucid's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/emacs-lucid.git ~/emacs-lucid

c. Go to ~/emacs-lucid folder and install it

$ cd ~/emacs-lucid $ makepkg -si

3. Information about the emacs-lucid package on Arch User Repository (AUR)
