etckeeper-packages on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "etckeeper-packages" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install etckeeper-packages on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S etckeeper-packages

* (Optional) Uninstall etckeeper-packages on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns etckeeper-packages

2. Manually Install "etckeeper-packages" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone etckeeper-packages's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/etckeeper-packages.git ~/etckeeper-packages

c. Go to ~/etckeeper-packages folder and install it

$ cd ~/etckeeper-packages $ makepkg -si
