1. Install "external-editor-revived" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install external-editor-revived on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S external-editor-revived

* (Optional) Uninstall external-editor-revived on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns external-editor-revived

2. Manually Install "external-editor-revived" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone external-editor-revived's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/external-editor-revived.git ~/external-editor-revived

c. Go to ~/external-editor-revived folder and install it

$ cd ~/external-editor-revived $ makepkg -si
