fdk-aac-free on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "fdk-aac-free" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install fdk-aac-free on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S fdk-aac-free

* (Optional) Uninstall fdk-aac-free on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns fdk-aac-free

2. Manually Install "fdk-aac-free" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone fdk-aac-free's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/fdk-aac-free.git ~/fdk-aac-free

c. Go to ~/fdk-aac-free folder and install it

$ cd ~/fdk-aac-free $ makepkg -si
