file-rename-utils on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "file-rename-utils" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install file-rename-utils on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S file-rename-utils

* (Optional) Uninstall file-rename-utils on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns file-rename-utils

2. Manually Install "file-rename-utils" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone file-rename-utils's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/file-rename-utils.git ~/file-rename-utils

c. Go to ~/file-rename-utils folder and install it

$ cd ~/file-rename-utils $ makepkg -si
