firmware-action on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "firmware-action" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install firmware-action on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S firmware-action

* (Optional) Uninstall firmware-action on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns firmware-action

2. Manually Install "firmware-action" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone firmware-action's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/firmware-action.git ~/firmware-action

c. Go to ~/firmware-action folder and install it

$ cd ~/firmware-action $ makepkg -si
