fping-exporter on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "fping-exporter" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install fping-exporter on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S fping-exporter

* (Optional) Uninstall fping-exporter on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns fping-exporter

2. Manually Install "fping-exporter" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone fping-exporter's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/fping-exporter.git ~/fping-exporter

c. Go to ~/fping-exporter folder and install it

$ cd ~/fping-exporter $ makepkg -si
