gmanedit2 on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "gmanedit2" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install gmanedit2 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S gmanedit2

* (Optional) Uninstall gmanedit2 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns gmanedit2

2. Manually Install "gmanedit2" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone gmanedit2's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/gmanedit2.git ~/gmanedit2

c. Go to ~/gmanedit2 folder and install it

$ cd ~/gmanedit2 $ makepkg -si
