1. Install "go3status" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)


    
        
            $
        

        
            
                sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si
            
                    
    
    Copied

b. Install go3status on Arch using YAY

* (Optional) Uninstall go3status on Arch using YAY

2. Manually Install "go3status" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:


    
        
            $
        

        
            
                sudo pacman -S --needed
            
                        
                base-devel git
            
                    
    
    Copied

b. Clone go3status's git locally


    
        
            $
        

        
            
                git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/go3status.git 
            
                        
                ~/go3status
            
                    
    
    Copied

c. Go to ~/go3status folder and install it

                cd
            
                        
                ~/go3status
