google-chrome-dev on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "google-chrome-dev" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install google-chrome-dev on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S google-chrome-dev

* (Optional) Uninstall google-chrome-dev on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns google-chrome-dev

2. Manually Install "google-chrome-dev" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone google-chrome-dev's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/google-chrome-dev.git ~/google-chrome-dev

c. Go to ~/google-chrome-dev folder and install it

$ cd ~/google-chrome-dev $ makepkg -si
