gpointing-device-settings on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "gpointing-device-settings" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install gpointing-device-settings on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S gpointing-device-settings

* (Optional) Uninstall gpointing-device-settings on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns gpointing-device-settings

2. Manually Install "gpointing-device-settings" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone gpointing-device-settings's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/gpointing-device-settings.git ~/gpointing-device-settings

c. Go to ~/gpointing-device-settings folder and install it

$ cd ~/gpointing-device-settings $ makepkg -si
