grub-linux-default on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "grub-linux-default" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install grub-linux-default on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S grub-linux-default

* (Optional) Uninstall grub-linux-default on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns grub-linux-default

2. Manually Install "grub-linux-default" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone grub-linux-default's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/grub-linux-default.git ~/grub-linux-default

c. Go to ~/grub-linux-default folder and install it

$ cd ~/grub-linux-default $ makepkg -si
