gscreenshot-simd on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "gscreenshot-simd" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install gscreenshot-simd on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S gscreenshot-simd

* (Optional) Uninstall gscreenshot-simd on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns gscreenshot-simd

2. Manually Install "gscreenshot-simd" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone gscreenshot-simd's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/gscreenshot-simd.git ~/gscreenshot-simd

c. Go to ~/gscreenshot-simd folder and install it

$ cd ~/gscreenshot-simd $ makepkg -si
