hd-idle on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "hd-idle" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install hd-idle on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S hd-idle

* (Optional) Uninstall hd-idle on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns hd-idle

2. Manually Install "hd-idle" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone hd-idle's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/hd-idle.git ~/hd-idle

c. Go to ~/hd-idle folder and install it

$ cd ~/hd-idle $ makepkg -si
