hdf-eos2 on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "hdf-eos2" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install hdf-eos2 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S hdf-eos2

* (Optional) Uninstall hdf-eos2 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns hdf-eos2

2. Manually Install "hdf-eos2" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone hdf-eos2's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/hdf-eos2.git ~/hdf-eos2

c. Go to ~/hdf-eos2 folder and install it

$ cd ~/hdf-eos2 $ makepkg -si
