homeassistant-scanner on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "homeassistant-scanner" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install homeassistant-scanner on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S homeassistant-scanner

* (Optional) Uninstall homeassistant-scanner on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns homeassistant-scanner

2. Manually Install "homeassistant-scanner" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone homeassistant-scanner's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/homeassistant-scanner.git ~/homeassistant-scanner

c. Go to ~/homeassistant-scanner folder and install it

$ cd ~/homeassistant-scanner $ makepkg -si
