hosts-update on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "hosts-update" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install hosts-update on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S hosts-update

* (Optional) Uninstall hosts-update on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns hosts-update

2. Manually Install "hosts-update" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone hosts-update's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/hosts-update.git ~/hosts-update

c. Go to ~/hosts-update folder and install it

$ cd ~/hosts-update $ makepkg -si
