java-berkeleydb on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "java-berkeleydb" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install java-berkeleydb on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S java-berkeleydb

* (Optional) Uninstall java-berkeleydb on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns java-berkeleydb

2. Manually Install "java-berkeleydb" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone java-berkeleydb's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/java-berkeleydb.git ~/java-berkeleydb

c. Go to ~/java-berkeleydb folder and install it

$ cd ~/java-berkeleydb $ makepkg -si
