java-gcj-compat on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "java-gcj-compat" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install java-gcj-compat on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S java-gcj-compat

* (Optional) Uninstall java-gcj-compat on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns java-gcj-compat

2. Manually Install "java-gcj-compat" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone java-gcj-compat's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/java-gcj-compat.git ~/java-gcj-compat

c. Go to ~/java-gcj-compat folder and install it

$ cd ~/java-gcj-compat $ makepkg -si
