jdk8-perf on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "jdk8-perf" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install jdk8-perf on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S jdk8-perf

* (Optional) Uninstall jdk8-perf on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns jdk8-perf

2. Manually Install "jdk8-perf" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone jdk8-perf's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/jdk8-perf.git ~/jdk8-perf

c. Go to ~/jdk8-perf folder and install it

$ cd ~/jdk8-perf $ makepkg -si
