kodi-standalone-service on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "kodi-standalone-service" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install kodi-standalone-service on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S kodi-standalone-service

* (Optional) Uninstall kodi-standalone-service on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns kodi-standalone-service

2. Manually Install "kodi-standalone-service" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone kodi-standalone-service's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/kodi-standalone-service.git ~/kodi-standalone-service

c. Go to ~/kodi-standalone-service folder and install it

$ cd ~/kodi-standalone-service $ makepkg -si
