libirecovery3 on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "libirecovery3" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install libirecovery3 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S libirecovery3

* (Optional) Uninstall libirecovery3 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns libirecovery3

2. Manually Install "libirecovery3" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone libirecovery3's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/libirecovery3.git ~/libirecovery3

c. Go to ~/libirecovery3 folder and install it

$ cd ~/libirecovery3 $ makepkg -si
