linuxdeploy-appimage on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "linuxdeploy-appimage" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install linuxdeploy-appimage on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S linuxdeploy-appimage

* (Optional) Uninstall linuxdeploy-appimage on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns linuxdeploy-appimage

2. Manually Install "linuxdeploy-appimage" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone linuxdeploy-appimage's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/linuxdeploy-appimage.git ~/linuxdeploy-appimage

c. Go to ~/linuxdeploy-appimage folder and install it

$ cd ~/linuxdeploy-appimage $ makepkg -si
