lirc-user-service on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "lirc-user-service" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install lirc-user-service on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S lirc-user-service

* (Optional) Uninstall lirc-user-service on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns lirc-user-service

2. Manually Install "lirc-user-service" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone lirc-user-service's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/lirc-user-service.git ~/lirc-user-service

c. Go to ~/lirc-user-service folder and install it

$ cd ~/lirc-user-service $ makepkg -si
