makedeb-alpha on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "makedeb-alpha" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install makedeb-alpha on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S makedeb-alpha

* (Optional) Uninstall makedeb-alpha on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns makedeb-alpha

2. Manually Install "makedeb-alpha" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone makedeb-alpha's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/makedeb-alpha.git ~/makedeb-alpha

c. Go to ~/makedeb-alpha folder and install it

$ cd ~/makedeb-alpha $ makepkg -si
