mapdamage on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "mapdamage" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install mapdamage on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S mapdamage

* (Optional) Uninstall mapdamage on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns mapdamage

2. Manually Install "mapdamage" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone mapdamage's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/mapdamage.git ~/mapdamage

c. Go to ~/mapdamage folder and install it

$ cd ~/mapdamage $ makepkg -si
