metadata-cleaner1 on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "metadata-cleaner1" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install metadata-cleaner1 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S metadata-cleaner1

* (Optional) Uninstall metadata-cleaner1 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns metadata-cleaner1

2. Manually Install "metadata-cleaner1" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone metadata-cleaner1's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/metadata-cleaner1.git ~/metadata-cleaner1

c. Go to ~/metadata-cleaner1 folder and install it

$ cd ~/metadata-cleaner1 $ makepkg -si
