nautilus-empty-file on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "nautilus-empty-file" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install nautilus-empty-file on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S nautilus-empty-file

* (Optional) Uninstall nautilus-empty-file on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns nautilus-empty-file

2. Manually Install "nautilus-empty-file" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone nautilus-empty-file's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/nautilus-empty-file.git ~/nautilus-empty-file

c. Go to ~/nautilus-empty-file folder and install it

$ cd ~/nautilus-empty-file $ makepkg -si
