octa-electron on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "octa-electron" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install octa-electron on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S octa-electron

* (Optional) Uninstall octa-electron on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns octa-electron

2. Manually Install "octa-electron" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone octa-electron's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/octa-electron.git ~/octa-electron

c. Go to ~/octa-electron folder and install it

$ cd ~/octa-electron $ makepkg -si
