octave-optiminterp on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "octave-optiminterp" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install octave-optiminterp on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S octave-optiminterp

* (Optional) Uninstall octave-optiminterp on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns octave-optiminterp

2. Manually Install "octave-optiminterp" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone octave-optiminterp's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/octave-optiminterp.git ~/octave-optiminterp

c. Go to ~/octave-optiminterp folder and install it

$ cd ~/octave-optiminterp $ makepkg -si
