owntone-server on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "owntone-server" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install owntone-server on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S owntone-server

* (Optional) Uninstall owntone-server on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns owntone-server

2. Manually Install "owntone-server" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone owntone-server's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/owntone-server.git ~/owntone-server

c. Go to ~/owntone-server folder and install it

$ cd ~/owntone-server $ makepkg -si
