pavumeter-gtk3 on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "pavumeter-gtk3" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install pavumeter-gtk3 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S pavumeter-gtk3

* (Optional) Uninstall pavumeter-gtk3 on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns pavumeter-gtk3

2. Manually Install "pavumeter-gtk3" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone pavumeter-gtk3's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/pavumeter-gtk3.git ~/pavumeter-gtk3

c. Go to ~/pavumeter-gtk3 folder and install it

$ cd ~/pavumeter-gtk3 $ makepkg -si
