piper-phonemize on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "piper-phonemize" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install piper-phonemize on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S piper-phonemize

* (Optional) Uninstall piper-phonemize on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns piper-phonemize

2. Manually Install "piper-phonemize" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone piper-phonemize's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/piper-phonemize.git ~/piper-phonemize

c. Go to ~/piper-phonemize folder and install it

$ cd ~/piper-phonemize $ makepkg -si
