playerctl-shift on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "playerctl-shift" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install playerctl-shift on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S playerctl-shift

* (Optional) Uninstall playerctl-shift on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns playerctl-shift

2. Manually Install "playerctl-shift" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone playerctl-shift's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/playerctl-shift.git ~/playerctl-shift

c. Go to ~/playerctl-shift folder and install it

$ cd ~/playerctl-shift $ makepkg -si
