ports-sniffer on AUR (Arch User Repository)

1. Install "ports-sniffer" effortlessly via AUR with the help of a helper(YAY)

a. Install YAY (https://github.com/Jguer/yay)

$ sudo pacman -S --needed git base-devel && git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git && cd yay && makepkg -si

b. Install ports-sniffer on Arch using YAY

$ yay -S ports-sniffer

* (Optional) Uninstall ports-sniffer on Arch using YAY

$ yay -Rns ports-sniffer

2. Manually Install "ports-sniffer" via AUR

a. Ensure you have the base development tools and git installed with:

$ sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git

b. Clone ports-sniffer's git locally

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/ports-sniffer.git ~/ports-sniffer

c. Go to ~/ports-sniffer folder and install it

$ cd ~/ports-sniffer $ makepkg -si
